Surface Area Dance Theatre – Community Projects with Deaf Artists

We have produced multiple community projects with Surface Area Dance Theatre featuring collaborations with deaf artists including Chisato Minamimura, Antoine Hunter, and Chris Fonseca.

These projects have centred on inclusive creation, where deaf and hearing artists and community participants co-create performances that foreground accessibility, storytelling and embodied connection.
