MAM Secure Arts Council England Funding for 2026
We’re delighted to announce Moving Art Management has been awarded a National Lottery Project Grant from Arts Council England! This funding will support us to host a series of unique events and professional opportunities throughout 2026.
Arts Council’s Project Grants are a cornerstone of the UK’s cultural landscape, funding a broad range of creative projects that reach new audiences and provide artists with the resources needed to innovate their work.
How We’re Using the Support
This grant represents confident backing of MAM in our ongoing mission to cultivate the North East’s creative ecosystem. The 2026 funding will enable:
New Scratch Platforms: Expanding our commitment to work-in-progress events, allowing artists to test ideas and gain feedback in a supportive environment.
Artist Commissions: Directly investing in the creation of bold, exceptional new art.
Regional Sector Support: Providing the mentorship and professional infrastructure needed to keep our local creative talent thriving.
We’ll be using it to build on the success of previous initiatives, like our Move In Progress series, last hosted in Saltburn, and Seed to Stage programme, which guides artists through the professional journey from initial idea to public performance.

Developing new talent and enabling exceptional art is fundamental to MAM’s mission. We are immensely grateful to the Arts Council for supporting us to guarantee more of this work.
